Can someone provide me the title of the mid-80's movie about a girl mechanic who is trying to prove herself and gets involved with a Matt Lattanzi type race car driver?

It ws a movie that came out around the time of "Just one of the guys." It was pretty cheesy.

I thought the name was something like "Mechanic Girl" but that doesn't show up on IMDB. Many thanks.

it's available on region 2 DVD from some obscure European country, forget the website I saw it on now
