Does anyone remember the story about the kid that had to eat Fried Worms? I think he had to eat one a day for forty day????? I totally forgot about this until the post about ramona quimby.

um...this might be in that movie..tell me if i'm correct. did someone in that movie make themselves a sandwich that they put pepper on and then the pepper turned to worms??

The book is called How to eat Fried Worms. It's pretty old, and they made a cartoon out of it on Saturday mornings.

Yeah now I remember that book! I think I may even own a copy. I'll have to check. If I do then it's probably packed away in the attic where I keep most of my childhood things. That stuff ought to be fun to look through.

What a great book. Did a book report on it back in '78 in the 4th grade. Have 2 old copies that were found recently. Does anyone recommend the movie?
