Okay, on Pay Per View last night they had Dave Gahan, the singer from DEPECHE MODE singing without the other guys. Did they break up and no one thought to tell about it? What gives?

Depeche Mode are NOT breaking up... i'm a huge DM fan, with one of the largest collections of vinyls, cd's, promos etc'. Dave Gahan, the lead singer, is on his solo tour, supporting his first solo album 'Paper Monsters'.
next month the band are getting together to discuss their next album, which Martin Gore already wrote lyrics to a few songs.

NO! How can you say that! They are still writing good music and have withstood the test of time. I'd rather listen to one their new albums than most of the crap that's out there today.

My friends all listen to rock and metal but at least once a week I put on the Depeche Mode and just groove to that...so everyones used to it....Its my JUST DEAL WITH IT music. I love them.And anyone who comes to my house is gonna have to hear it.

DM are legends. Though they ahve been through hell and back, they are staying together. I just hope that Andrew Wilder will rejoin the band again. I have to agree, I didn't enjot the last album that much, so I hope they can comeback with a great album. I aslo hope the new Cure album is going to be great as well.

DM have not split up and I have to disagree with he person who said there last few albums have sucked. I actually think the album that came out before there last one(forget the name) is the best one they have done. Tracks like Home,Barrel of a gun and It`s No Good are really class songs.
I do hope Dave sticks to singing and forgets about solo projects as some of the song writing on Paper Monsters is appaling....now that album does suck.
