Anyone remember the 1987 movie "He's my Girl" with actor T.K. Carter, actor and singer David Hallyday, and Jennifer Tilly. Which was her fourth fifth film.
This is the only movie that people remeber David Hallyday in, playing Bryan... It's about how Reggie (T.K. Carter)enters Bryan into a contest. So Bryan can go out to LA to get a record contact.
Bryan wins, but finds out that Reggie can not go with him. Bryan has to take a girl. Bryan not wanting to go since Reggie is Bryan's manager. So Reggie comes back to Bryan's house later. Dressed as a girl... Well I guess you can figure out the rest.
Not really good at describing things... I haven't seen a DVD anywhere. But you can get the out of print VHS's usually cheap. I got mine from half.com real cheap.
The movie has a great soundtrack, that you can find on a LP, or cassette tape. I believe the song He's my Girl by David Hallyday was popular when it came out. I remember it coming on the radio all the time, at least where I am from.
This is one of those forgotten films, I do not believe I've seen it on TV for a long time. Probably on HBO, or one of the cable channels

I loved this movie also! I actually just saw this movie the other day. It comes on the Encore channel. You may also search to see what time this movie comes on by searching under Jennifer Tilley on the website below http://www.tv-now.com/stars/jtilly.html. Jennifer Tilley was the weird girl in the movie he ended up liking. However it looks like He's My Girl is not on this month!! Its a great movie I hope this helps!!

This was on cable in September. I absolutely love this film. It was by the Scotti Bros. David Hallyday's mother is married to one of the bros. that is how he got the role. He also had a song in another completely awesome film Lady Beware with Diane Lane.

Just watched He´s My Girl which was a decent role swap comedy.
T.K. Carter was great and it was awesome to see Jennifer Tilly in this one.
