I was wondering if anyone on this site thought that Always with Richard Dreyfus and Holly Hunter totally rocked! It has been on cable lately and the chemistry between Richard and Holly is awesome. So is the cinematography. Has anyone had the opportunity to see the original "A Guy Named Joe", I think it was around the early 40's. It is supposedly one of Steven Spielberg's favorites. I love the music from it as well. I remember the first time that I saw it at the movies I came out balling like a baby, it really made me feel that true love is possible.

I don't remember Always too much. I know that I have seen it and since you brought it up, I'm gonna have to check it out again.

I love Always. Holly Hunter, as usual, does a great job. Richard Dreyfuss and John Goodman are are wonderfully funny. My dad bought it for me when I was like six or seven. I have yet to see A Guy Named Joe.

I saw it in the theatres when it first came out, but haven't seen it since.
John Goodman and Holly Hunter were great in it, and the film was very well made. It was nice to see Audrey Hepburn make a movie comeback in a "heavenly" role.
I like Richard Dreyfuss, but I thought he was miscast in it. And that guy who played the new love interest, Brad Johnson, seemed too stiff for me.
"Always" is a remake of a 1943 movie called "A Guy Named Joe".
Steven Spielberg has always had a fascination with the 1940's decade (especially WW2), and several of his films took place during that time (1941, Raiders of The Lost Ark, Schindler's List, Empire Of The Sun, Saving Private Ryan) clearly reflect his interest.

Oh River, you constantly amaze me with your good taste! I adore Christian Bale! I loved him in Empire of the Sun and even the idiotic American Psycho. I guess he is going to be the next Batman too. Weather I like the movie or not, I know I'll like him.

The next batman? Ur kidding? Well, in my opinion, they all went down hill after Val Kilmer, but I'll definitely have to go see this one. Anyone seen Newsies? It's one of my favs.
Tootles!

In my opinion the only Batman movies that were any good were with Michael Keetan, he kept it real not to good looking, played the rich keep to himself hero. Well that's what I have to say about that.
