Did anyone else have /still have a thing for daytime tv like;
Murder, She Wrote Columbo Magnum P.I.
I absolutley love these. We're getting re-runs of Murder, She Wrote in the UK at the moment. Good ol' Jessica

I miss Magnum P.I. It was my favourite show at the time.A dvd release of Magnum would be nice.

Oh. We still get them in the daytime over here (well except Magnum). Columbo is/was on, on a Saturday or Sunday luchtime and we're still getting Murder, She Wrote at 2:30pm weekdays.

During the 80's, daytime TV from Mondays through Fridays in the U.S., usually consisted of the following:
Game shows
Talk-shows (Phil Donahue, Oprah Winfrey, etc.)
Soap operas
Syndicated reruns (usually in the afternoons)

yeah these were not originally day time tv in the UK either, they are the same as u have them, syndicated reruns, which generally go out in the afternoon,
Im a university student so i must say they are essential veiwing as any student will tell u,
no one has mentioned my favourites though, the big Q, "Quincy" which ran till around 1983, he was da man,
and although this probably wont ever be shown day time, lol my fav "The Eqaulizer" i love that, i still try to catch it on sky when i can.
