Don't get me started on cable memories. Grew up a total cable junkie. Don't remember Spotlight, but the old HBO theme (duh duh duh, duh duh, duh duh duh duh, HBO spaceship coming down); Showtime with their nine little television boxes racing toward the screen, keyboard theme; The Movie Channel with faces and places of Hollywood racing by.
They don't even use themes anymore! It's just the rating and on to the movie

I see you in the Phoenix area. My parents picked up dimension cable (later cox) and yes, it was was replaced by Showtime. My dad picked up Spotlight because it was cheaper then HBO at the time.

yeah,we lived in NY. it was the rival of HBO when it came out. I remember my parents had a big black box on top of thier tv...that was the WHT. The only good movie I remember seeing on there was STUDENT BODIES.
