but for the main point, was anyone else effected by the power outtage as I was? Brooklyn in the dark, not much safer than brooklyn in the light.

My ISP claimed that it's recent network outages were a result of the US blackouts, which is a bit much seeing as I'm in the UK!
As for Bruce, to me he's a short shouty guy who had a couple of hits, nothing special.

I'm way over on the other side of the USA. But, I did catch different stories on the news. I heard stories about how New Yorkers came together to help each other. Here in the Northwest we are supposed to be friendly people but, that isn't always true. What was it like to be in such a huge place with no power?

Devolution here, It was really really really hot, and the only escape was to go outside, homes were blazing hot, and the air wasn't much better, I don't know if it was like the blackout in "Summer of Sam" or as I like to refer to that movie "Summer of Porn". People in NY do really weird things in times of crisis, handing out hot dogs, directing traffic, picking up people to give them a ride home, usually hitchhiking is not even a thought, but sometimes even in NYC people do the right thing.
