Does anyone live where they can get copies of this, I meet someone, that says they get it every now and again on a channel, that I don't get where I live. But, she never remembers to tape it. And I wondered if anyone would tape it, if they can get it, and I'd buy it? I have wanted to see it again forever, and I only ever see the PAL version on Ebay for sale.

Isis, I'm not sure if this is what you were looking for, but there is something called Lace coming on the Oxygen channel 2:00pm Pacific time. Although, it doesn't say anything about Phoebe Cates in the info. This is a movie I think, not a mini series, but it is 2 and half hours long, so u neva know. It was made in 1984 and stars Brook Adams. Hope this helps. I kno you don't have this channel but maybe someone u know does. Since it already started and is prolly over since your on the east coast i reccomend checking the tv guide if your desperate enough!
Tootles!

I can convert PAL VHS to PAL DVD-R and also to NTSC DVD-R at high quality for a price (nothing hideously expensive). The first Lace video is easy to get either on eBay or Blackstar.co.uk, but the 2nd Lace video is out of print goes for stupid money on eBay.

How can I contact you, because I accidently bought 2 PAL videos in the past, and they are useless to me, because I did not know what that was then. I have seen Lace on the PAL version, but it was no good for me either, and I didn't know anyone could do that. Tell me how to send these tapes to you, and I would be glad to pay you to convert them. Thanks.

If you click on my nickname on the left you'll get the member profile with one of my email addresses (it's real). I'm guessing you're in the US? airmail from America to the UK takes about 4 to 8 days, the same the other way. I use noise filtering on the captured VHS to clean up the picture and make it look better than the original VHS, a process which takes my computer 24 to 36 hours for an average length film. Audio cleanup takes a few hours and if there's PAL/NTSC conversion it'll take some more hours on top of that. Can be a long process but so definitely worth it as you only have to do it once and the picture quality won't degrade like the VHS will.
