I have two, C.H.U.D and The Keep, I'm looking for these in DVD, anyone find these yet, heh heh -if at all .

Devolution here, I am resident arguer, but for your information CHUD does exist on DVD, last I checked anyway, CHUD II, not really.

Devolution here, Summer Camp Nightmare, with Chuck Conners a classic. When the band sings Beef Bologna. I have Sleepaway Camp, loved it from childhood.
They don't make B movies like they used to.

I agree! The cheese factor is very high in the low budget 80s horror flicks, but that makes them more likable.
My older sister and I loved those two films when we were kids. Sleep Away Camps sequels were awful and never did the first justice.

Actually, I really liked Sleepaway Camp II. It was funny. That's the one with Renee Estevez (Sheen).
Angela (Pamela Springsteen) kills someone with a drill, drowns Ally (the camp tramp) in a latrine (YUCK!) and there are a few other inventive murders that I can't remember. Angela was insane singing Coombayah and talking about fornication.
"Oh, I'm a happy camper I love the summer sun I love the trees and forest I'm always having fun!"
I watched it a bajillion times. It always makes me think of "Scream for Help", cause they were my two goofy horror flicks for awhile.
Does anyone else have a special place in their heart for "Scream for Help"? I eventually shared the flick with my high school friends and it was one of the films we would recite the lines from and the most abstract times.

What about "Blades"? Did anyone like that film? I haven't seen it in awhile, it came out in 89. It's gross but really funny! People at a country club are being killed by a lawn mower! I reccomend you guys check it out if you haven't already!

Naw, it's not. It's not super low budget, but it's super over-the-top and hilarious. I mean, how can you NOT laugh when our heroine is maniacally bicycling all over town stalking her stepfather who she thinks wants to murder her. I mean, it's crazy. Me and my friends would sing the Wicked Witch of the West theme song while she rode around town.
I just bid on a copy of it. If you say its hysteriacl,I am taking your word as gospel. I think Sleepaway Camps a rip and so do you,so we must be on the same "wave length"!

another So Bad Its Good is The Pit. Its about a disturbed little kid no one likes whose in obsessive lust with his babysitter(he deops silverware off the table to look up her skirt,he makes her give him baths) he finds a little colony of "monsters" living in the woods behind his house.They become his friends,they only eat people,he becomes thier "feeder". This movie might not even be so hysterical if the monsters werent so shoddy lookin....but the things a real cheapy,and very funny.

Basket Case is great! Have you seen any of it's sequels? Of course they're not as good as the first butthey are quite entertaining.
Has anyone ever seen Wes Cravens 'Last House On The Left'? That's a classic. It was low budget because I think it was his first film or something. The thought of what happened in the movie kinda creeps me out. If you haven't seen it, check it out!

Does anybody rememebr "Waxwork" and "April Fools Day" ? Waxwork had kind of a good storyline, for an 80s horror flick. AFD, was plain funny with some hilarious death scenes. Deborah Foreman was in both films. You'd probably know her from Valley Girl.
There's also a low budget horror film I've been thinking of but can't remember the title. It might have been made in the late 70s. Some guy with an extra finger kills a bunch of people who are celebrating their high school reunion or something. I also remeber a clown and a priest. In the begining, I remember some kid walking out of a lake totaly dry. He just keeps walking. Anyone got a clue?

Yeah, Ali, I remember them and remember them well. The problem is Waxwork was a Joe Bob Briggs special a long time ago, and April Fools Day was a bit nuts, with the kid and the boat in the beginning of the movie.
Your movie sounds a bit like Slaughter High, but I don't think that it is. Cinemax in the late 80's used to put on some good stuff horror wise for the fans out there.

Joe Bob Briggs! Haha I remember his show on The Movie Channel(I think it was on there). Yeah those films weren't that great but if you watch them now it's hilarious! I just watched Night Screams again the other day because my friend wanted to see it. I laugh every time the guy gets his face burned on the stove. It's also pretty funny when this girl gets squashed by a car. The movie isn't that great but a few scenes make it watchable.

I bought one today.. I thought it was pretty good. Its called "My Bloody Valentine" and its from 1981.
Lori Hallier is in it. I couldn't recognize her from anywhere but I know I saw her name in some other 80's movie. Anyone has a guess?

i really like STUDENT BODIES. total horror cheese! the "breather" was too funny the body count that flashed on the screen was classic
