Yesterday I bought 'Weekend at Bernie's' and it was also from Bridge entertainment.
It seems that this is an obscure ditributor from Holland, witch provides only dutch subtitles and no extra's [Frown]
So most of you "dudes and dudettes" won't find these movies in your country.

Not a great loss though, the screwballs movies weren't exactly the greatest movies of the eighties. ( I hated them )

My apologies for this misleading tip. [Roll Eyes]

I have to admit to liking Weekend at Bernie's, i just think it's stupidly funny.my favourite scene is where Bernie is being dragged behind the speedboat and banging against all the buoy's as they go.great scene, great banging of head sound too. [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

Nine years after the last message here, i've got some additional information for y'all. [Smile]

Bridge Entertainment is indeed a small Dutch distribution company with mostly uninteresting
present-day movies. But around the same time they released Screwballs and Screwball Hotel,
they also released Oddballs and My Tutor on dvd.
My Tutor has an excellent quality transfer in anamorphic widescreen nonetheless !
I've also seen My Tutor on its American dvd where its paired with 11 other movies in a boxset
called Too Cool for School.
But the Dutch dvd is in better quality. Oddballs is fullscreen but pretty good as well, and still
the only version that has been released on dvd anywhere.
The same goes for Screwball Hotel (which still carries its original Universal logo at the beginning).
Screwballs has had a much improved release courtesy of Severin Films since.
The Dutch subtitles on all four titles are removable, but i think they are out of print by now,
but can probably still be found for as little as 2 euro's or something.
