im looking for the title of a movie sometime in the 80s it was about a chinese girl and american boy that fall in love from different turfs there is gang wars and the boy and the girl die in the end in the middle of the street holding hands help please

My guess is "China Girl" from 1987. It had a "Romeo & Juliet"/"West Side Story" plot.
