Hello all. Hopefully, if nowhere else, someone here will know the answer. This has just been driving me insane for months now.

I remember parts of a movie that I watched back in grade school. The basic premise of the movie was that these people only had, I think, 7 days to live. So immediately after a baby was born, they started teaching it, and training it, and then sent it on a mission to try and find some way to let their people live longer. Beyond that, I can't remember.

Please please please help me if you can.

I'm stumped on that one. Although that sounds an awful lot like an episode of Star Trek The Next Generation that I saw once. I'm probably totaly off base and probably wrong. Sorry. [Frown]

Thanks anyway, but it wasn't Star Trek. If no one else knows, that's cool. As coincidences may happen, it turns out my little brother claims a friend of his told him something very similar, but his family is on vacation right now and not expected back for some time.
