Has anyone seen this movie or know where to pick up a copy?

Ha, a Scream for Help fan.
I LOVED this flick as a kid, had a huge crush on the the girl. And the ending is awesome, with the stand-off and the girl dispatching all the bad guys.
You have to get real lucky to find a copy. I got my copy when I rented it years ago and made a dupe.

Hello Mcfly. I was starting to wonder if i would get any responses at all. Is It possible to make a dupe of a dupe? Its good to know that someone enjoyed this movie as much as i did.:0) I am hoping to be able to see it again in the near future if i have any luck. Well wish me luck. Thanks.

I could give it a try. I'll also check out my video stores. I belong to a lot of old ones that have been around since the 80s that carry a ton of old, obscure flicks. Maybe I could get you a higher quality dupe.
I'll let ya know

Scream for Help is a cool film. It is sooo 80's (notice Christina Cromwell's leg warmers?!)- and the music is done by John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin. Thumbs up!
P.S. It will take some time for these older, more obscure movies to be available on DVD, be patient

i thought this was a really fun and totally bonkers 1980s trash classic from michael winner.
i'm surprised no one has picked this one up for a dvd /blu ray release over the years unless there's copyright issues or something.
i'd definitely liked to upgrade from my old vhs.

I would love to see Scream for Help but the film was banned here in the 80s and i´ve never seen it on sale anywhere. There must be some copyright problems because i believe this is just the kind of film Arrow/88 Films etc. fans would love to see released.

and i thought our censors were a miserable bunch,i looked at the banned in finland list and some of the titles are just unbelievable - mad max 2,robocop,red dawn, vigilante etc.

The finnish censors were THE most miserable bunch when the godawful video law was launched in 1987. All the films you mentioned were released here but some of them were banned in ´87. They released Robocop on vhs but it was cut 10 minutes!!! So you can imagine that we had no other option than get the films the illegal way. Man those were hard times and i have so many stories...
