anyone remember this movie? It has Henry Thomas from ET and Cloak and Dagger in it. He sees a monster in the swamp and is determined to solve the mystery behind it. Classic.

Yeah, he builds a sort of diving bell and it turns out the monster is some kind of machine or car or something, and air is escaping from an underwater crevasse, filling it enough to float occasionally.
