What 80s films are your "must have"'s? that is what ones wouldn't you ever let go of and what ones are you still trying to get hold of?
Me, I just got "Electric Dreams" which I've been trying to get for a few months now (cost me £10 but that's half what it's going for on eBay) and still trying to get a PAL copy of "RAD" and "Fandango". Recently discovered where to get "The Gods Must Be Crazy" on DVD so will be getting that soon. Ones in my "must have" collection I won't let go of are Explorers, Howard the Duck, BMX Bandits, Night of the Comet, Breakin', Blade Runner, The Wraith and a pile more I can't think of at the moment.

Hey I like this..All I have is a handfull of DVDs' that people gave to me as presents and movies I taped off of HBO. If I have any I never would get rid of I'd say:
Campus Man-1987 Tap-1988 The Allnighter-1987 The 'Burbs-1989 The Wizard-1989 No Man's Land-1987 Beverly Hills Cop 1 & 2 48 HRS.-1982 Firstborn-1984 and anything I have with Joan Cusack in it.
I taped 'Stakeout' a few years back but I think my brother in-law's dog decided to steal it and burry it under the deck during our BBQ last year. I love that stupid dog.

A few more I'd add to my list:
Eddie Murphy Delirious (ok not a film but it's his best comedy ever) License to Drive Repo Man The Blues Brothers The Goonies The Last Starfighter The Lost Boys The Wizard (trying to get the DVD of this) Tron Wizards of the Lost Kingdom 1 & 2 Vamp Young Einstein
With you on the John Hughes collection (and not because I share the same surname as him :). I sorta started this thread as I wanted some ideas of what other films I don't have/haven't watched in a long time that others really like. At last count I have over 160 80s movies and collecting them is becomming horribly addictive!

oh yea, all of the Corey movies too.
Posted by The Wizard (Member # 533) on :
Cory Haim, Corey Feldman or both? :)
Been picking one or two Corey films up recently, the 'oddest' Corey film I have is Scuba School, both of them in a film done on a shoestring budget (wondering if they made the film with their own money made from their previous films).
