Hey everybody i was just wondering what your thoughts where on the Evil Dead movies. I like the one linners that ash says in them. I also think that on the first one when the deadite stabbed the pencil in her ankle and chewed her hand off was a good touch, gory but good. My favorite is Army Of Darkness cause it is the funniest out of all of them.

I too love the Evil Dead series. Army of Darkness is hilarious! I recently purchased them on DVD for less than $10.00 each! :)

Anytime you can use the line" gimme some sugar baby" and win the girl you know you have a great film on your hands!!! :) Plus Bruce Cambell is just hott!!

Which do you consider the alternate ending..? the S-Mart ending or the Rip Van Winkle apocalyptic ending..? I prefer the former.. I'm naturally a huge Evil Dead fan, hence my user name..

The one were he ends up in the apoctaliptic world cause he took to many of whatever the guy gave him. I never seen the alternate so i was wondering if it was any good.

Powerstroke.. The 'alternate' is a decent ending, just not at all consistent w/the Evil Dead pace like the S-Mart ending.. plus it leaves no room for the Evil Dead IV that gives me reason to wake up in the mornin'..I know for a fact that this ending is available on both the "bootleg" and "2 disc special edition" versions of AOD from Anchor Bay.. the latter of which is impossible to find
