I'm thinking of renting "Foxes" (1980), which starred Jodie Foster, Sally Kellerman, Scott Baio, and Cherie Currie (of the rock band The Runaways). All I know is that it was the first film directed by Adrian Lyne, who would later direct Flashdance, Nine And A Half Weeks, and Fatal Attraction.
If I remember correctly, it was the last (or next-to-last) movie Jodie made before she became enrolled in Yale University as a full-time student, although she continued to do movies during summer breaks.
So, to the group, is "Foxes" worth renting/seeing? And what was it about?

it basically focuses on the lives of these friends and it's probably Adrian Lyne's best movie, with a great soundtrack and performances (Jodie's her usual terrific self). It drags a little near the end, but aside from that it's very good.

Thanks for the input! My guess is that the movie is the 80's earliest example of what nowadays would be called a "chick flick".
