The only movie that I know of with that name is the 1983 movie (which happens to be one of my 80's faves, by the way) about the early days of the NASA space program. It certainly is NOT a road movie!

Sorry, can't you help you there. But maybe it's a totally different title?

i believe the movie you are trying to find is called "THE SURE THING" it stars john cusack and daphne zuniga as the two on the road trip who end up falling in love. i hope this is what you were looking for!
