I've recently bought the DVD Stand By Me. I agree with what everyone says about this movie taking such a unique perspective of boys in the late 1950's. I think the actors really did a good job with relating to there characters because they made the movie really believable. My suggestion is if you didn't see this movie yet go watch, if you haven't bought the movie, buy...especially on DVD since the bonus materials are worth the extra money.

This is an absolutely classic Friends flick, the friendship between the boys is just great. And as for the bonus materials, very well done and complete. My favorite part is where you find out that the director or whoever has to scream at the kids and get them crying to get a true performance out of them in the train/bridge sequence, its just COOL>
