Just started watching this show and liked the pilot episode very much. Great cast and wonderful, fun and witty dialogue. I remember watching few episodes back in the 80s when they aired this here but Moonlightning is not a show for 13 year olds. Sure kids could (back then, hardly today) enjoy it in some aspect but you have to be older to really get it.
So, this looks like a fun summer with Maddie and David. Now tell me, what do you think of the show?

I always found it interesting that Bruce Willis had such a flair for light comedy/romance on TV on Moonlighting but when he moved to film, with few exceptions--for example, Blind Date--he became an action star. Of course, he had the good fortune of nabbing the lead in Die Hard, clearly one of the best action films of its kind ever made, and his career was set.

Yeah, itīs a shame that they so quickly become victims of typecasting.
I can definitely feel some, lets say, Eddie Murphy flavor here. Already in the first episode. Heīs a funny guy.
Anyone seen Willisī ī88 film Sunset? IMDb says the genres are crime, mystery, thriller & western. Any comedy in that one? And is it any good?

I liked Moonlighting, but it was one of those shows that got a little dull when the will they / won't they romance was resolved and the creators clearly started running out of ideas. By the time it ended it felt like the show had been on for a little too long.
I liked Sunset, even though I don't remember much about it. Without googling; it was a crime comedy set in old Hollywood. Something about an ageing actor (James Garner?) and a western star or a private detective or something. I think it was worth watching...

Only two episodes to go and iīve watched the whole season 2.
Overall itīs been very good but eps 13-15 were too serious in tone and lacked that something which makes Moonlightning so great. The humour and the fun dialaogue.
Luckily episode 16 got back on track. Itīs a wonderful "David Addison" ep and we can even hear Alisha (Baby Talk) and Pet Shop Boys (West End Girl) tunes. And oh boy, Lisa Blount looked stunning!
