AMH and RD Jr. were members of the worst season of all. The 85-86 season was the one that was so bad they joked of it being a dream at the beginning of 86-87. It sucked.

I read over on Tvline.com that tonight they are airing the very first episode of SNL. I am not a huge fan,monkey watched it once in a while through the 90's to now. I seriously think they need to hang it up. It hasn't been funny since the 90's with Chris Farley, Adam Sandler, David Spade, etc. it's so bad it makes me cringe.

Yeah I think they could have ended it around the mid 90s. Chris Farley is the only one I like out of, Chris Farley, Adam Sandler, David Spade, David Spade wasn't funny on his own he was only brought along by the glory of Farley. His character in Rules Of Engagement was just a sleazy little pervert. He is more on the drippy runt side of unlikable. Adam Sandler, he had one and a half movies I liked, Happy Gilmore and The Wedding Singer, (that's the half).
The 70's/80s were Saturday Night Lives heyday.

I enjoyed it also Devo. The Jeopardy skit is always a winner with Sean Connery. Found it odd that Eddie Murphy didnt do more.

I loved SNL in the Sandler/Farley/Spade days. Loved the Church Lady too, and Mr. Robinson's neighborhood. Except for the Roxbury guys, I haven't enjoyed a SNL skit since 1995.
