I think this was a good idea, since there's so much about all genres of 80s TV that could fill up this section.

Honestly with 80's TV shows becoming so widely available now it's fun to relive them all over again or for the first time! [Smile]

It was totally Secret Admirer's idea for the TV section.....I'm just a "seconder" and feel like slime for getting all the credit for such an awesome fresh idea!! haha

Whats the 1st tv show on DVD you guys rushed out to buy? it was Punky Brewster for me and now I can't really watch it sadly.

When I first saw The Greatest American Hero and Different Strokes in stores on DVD, I grabbed them immediately...there was no "hmmm...can I really afford these right now"...I was gettin' them no matter what! The Greatest American Hero was one of my favs as a kid, but sadly, as Muffy and Punky....found it hard to get through an episode. Although, I plan to re-visit this to insure it wasn't just my mood at the time.

Muff, the Pilot was the best episode. Did you watch the DVD version? Because they took out all the great songs from the original and replaced them with generic junk.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - 'Muffy Brewster'.
