I posted a long time ago that Sam Hain (Patrick) had passed away in July 2013. Also Buffalogirl (Dee/ Denise) passed away from cancer. Sam Hain was a wealth of knowledge when it came to music and movies. Buffalogirl(Dee) was a wonderful, friendly woman. RIP Patrick and Dee

I always kept in touch with Patrick through Facebook and was devastated to hear of his passing. Hadn't heard the news about Denise but again very sad to hear this.

While not a member here as far as I know, I was saddened to learn last year of the death at only age 35 of fellow hardcore John Hughes fan, and for many years webmistress of the Web's most comprehensive Hughes fan site, Christine Gieseke in September of 2012. While we never did have the honor of meeting face to face, I had long considered her a good friend, and was crushed to know she was gone, although there had been hints of major health issues over the years. As tribute, I've dedicated the Home Alone fan story I'm currently writing at FanFiction.net to her memory.

I have more sad news. I just found out tonight that our friend and fellow Rewinder Dexter Motley Morgan (Brian) has passed away. I am truly shocked.

This is such a sad post. Brian became a friend to many of us off the board.

Absolutely gutted to hear about Brian. Both he and Patrick were two of my closest rewind compadres and I kept on close contact with both through other social media sites. I will miss them both equally.
