Hard to believe it's already been a quarter century. Was anyone on here watching live when it went up? If so, what was your reaction?

I was glued to the set. Just a terrible, terrible day for everyone. And it is hard to believe that it's been a quarter of a century now.

I saw it live. I was at home with the flu, and we watched it live on tv. We actually didn't know what was happening at first. I just wish they would not only focus on the death of the schoolteacher, but also on the fellow crew members. No one (and I am one of them) can remember their names, only Christa McCauliffe.

I will never forget it. The most horrifying thing of all is the probability that they were alive until the crew capsule hit the ocean.

My memories are of a joke that circulated afterwards (I won't tell it here).
The producers of 'Spacecamp' must've been hanging their heads.
