Anyone else watch this? This was the best show that I've seen in a while. 13 shows next year, I can't wait. Don't want to give away spoilers, but if you like Dawn of the Dead, 28 days later, and lost, this is the TV show for you.

i think quite a bit of us here, watch it. great show, but have to wait 9 months for next season! the finale was ok, but i still liked it. i own the hardback graphic novels parts 1 & 2, so i was super excited when i found out they were making a show, never expected it to be on AMC of all channels. but lucky for them!

Love it, I just wish it were coming back sooner. I also thought there would be more than 6 episodes.

Devolution here,
SPOILER!
The question is, what does anyone think was whispered in his ear by the doctor? My wife puts money on the fact since they all took a blood test, that the wife is pregnant with the other cops kid. Sounds solid to me.

That could be a possibility Devo. My thoughts on the wife: she's a tramp. Her husband was thought to be dead for only a few weeks and she was already sleeping with his best friend?!

I have a few issues with this show... maybe I'm being too sensitive, but...
It irritated me when one of the first prejudiced characters we encounter is 'hillbilly racist cliche # 1'. Then we encounter 'hillbilly wifebeater # 1'. I sometimes wish that the people who make these kind of shows would just stop using 'white trash' as the shorthand for all negative human qualities - it exists all over.
Apart from that, I thought it was ok, if a little plodding and predictable.

I thought the same thing!
"I'm sorry, he's dead." "Great! Let's get it on!"

"You've got a sweet assss, man"
Or maybe...
"This whole zombie thing is a massive April fool's. Everyone is in on it. Do you think maybe the joke's gone too far?"

I wasn't all that impressed with the finale.

That's because it dealt with issues of racism and domestic violence in such an even-handed reasonable way.
I always thought that what zombie holocaust survivors should do is... hole up in a big department store and just wait it out for a year or two for the zombies to rot away. That would be my plan.

What did the doctor whisper at the end?
"4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42"

I've seen all six episodes and love the show. Doctor definitely relaying pregnancy, but that seems way too predictable. Could also have been:
1. "I know I'm gonna die soon...but I want the world to know...I love Justin Bieber".
2. "Mr. Saunders seven secret herbs and spices are...."
3. "Do you know of any other up and coming series that I could be in for more than two episodes?"
4. " It's close to midnight...something evil's lurkin' in the dark..."

Twelve years and 10 seasons later i watched the last-ever episode of The Walking Dead's season 11 yesterday evening, a mere 24 hours after it aired in the US.
It was decent, but in my opinion there have been better episodes early on in this season. There were still too many loose ends to wrap everything up, so the ending felt rushed, and there was no (much speculated) reunion between main characters from past and present. An epilogue of sorts brought back two key players, but merely functioned as a set-up for an already announced spin-off series, and didn't really have anything to do with this final season's storyline whatsoever.
And speaking of spin-offs, no less than three have been announced : Each will follow seperate characters from the original series. In all honesty, it sounds somewhat over-ambitious to me, but for people with lots of spare time, and who are willing to dive into three seperate series which run simultaneously, it might be of interest to "get" the bigger picture as to what happens with the main characters after the original series' ending.
Anyone else seen the last episode, or the final season in general ? and what are your thoughts on the multiple upcoming spin-off series ?

I quit watching it years ago. I did watch the episode where Rick “leaves”. I got turned off when Negan was introduced and it was just bloody gore. I watch violent movies, etc, but he seemed over the top

Haven´t seen season 11 yet but i´ve been watching TWD, the last few seasons just were not that good so i´m alright with it that they end the show. Three spin-off´s? They are not going to survive
