I know it's not the time of year to be thinking about sunshine and humidity (unless you live on one of thise 'upside down' southern hemisphere countries), but I'm just booking everything up....
I'm taking the family to visit friends next April in Houston, TX. Gonna be the longest flight I've ever done, and by far the longest that the kids have managed, but their best friends are at the other end, and so I'm sure they will cope.
I'm buying the flights this weekend, and getting all excited.... Not telling the kids just yet, but they will explode when they find out!
None of you guys are anywhere near Houston, are you?

Yeah, been to New York a few times and on business to Long Island, but never any further, so this will be an adventure!

Paul.. the difference between New York and Texas will amaze you!
The month of April should be nice temperatures in Texas.

OK - money spent, tickets booked. Just got to wonder now how to pay the credit card bill!

The devil went down to Georgia, he was looking for a soul to steal. He was in a bind 'cos he was way behind: he was willin' to make a deal. When he came across this young man sawin' on a fiddle and playin' it hot. And the devil jumped upon a hickory stump and said: "Boy let me tell you what: "I bet you didn't know it, but I'm a fiddle player too. "And if you'd care to take a dare, I'll make a bet with you. "Now you play a pretty good fiddle, boy, but give the devil his due: "I bet a fiddle of gold against your soul, 'cos I think I'm better than you." The boy said: "My name's Johnny and it might be a sin, "But I'll take your bet, your gonna regret, 'cos I'm the best that's ever been."
Paul, if you're going to pay Texas a visit .. it is time to get your "Urban Cowboy" on!
