GemGlam.. I hadn't heard about this yet, but I hope it is a success. Here's what I found on it:
The Material Girl collection will include clothing, jewelry, footwear and handbags. It was inspired and designed in collaboration with Madonna and her daughter Lourdes, along with Iconix Brand Group's fashion department. The Material Girl collection will be priced from $12 to $40.
And you can dance for inspiration!

Interesting. It's almost astonishing that Madonna has waited this long to produce a clothing line.

Clearly, her talented daughter is the designer.

It's times like this I wish I was a crossdresser. You ladies always get to wear the fabulous.

You could always wear Men's half shirts and long tube socks with short shorts Secret Admirer......very instyle and very 80's!
I'm excited to see what is in this clothing line....they haven't leaked anything online.

It's funny-I've been thinking how fingerless lace gloves should be on the "80's fashions to never see again" thread. And yes, I do have a pic of me wearing a pair

Now that you've mentioned your "Desperately Seeking Susan" look.. you know you've got to post it.

I remember in the 80s reading a spread in a magazine about how MADONNA was coming out with a clothing line. they even showed pics of teenage models wearing the clothes (as you can imagine: a lot of tube skirts over lace leggings). I was like "Oooooh...gotta get me that!" but I sure never remember seeing her clothing line in any stores. I wonder what ever happened there.
