What would it be? You can add something, or take away something, or tweak it, whatever you want. Or just tell us what you love about the forums and why you wouldn't change a thing.
I would really only love to add the ability to post youtube clips or other video clips of some sort. Maybe a [youtube][/youtube] bbcode thingymajig. How cool would that be?

U know what i think would be cool?...if u could somehow have a top 10 list of your fav 80s movies..and have a seperate genre u know like..top 10 Horror, top 10 Comedy, top 10 romance etc. and we could post that info for everybody to see..Idk im just talking out loud just food 4 thought..

Yes, I know about the url linking, but it'd be better to have the youtube video play right on the page.
CrashesParties n TheValley, that would be a cool idea. Maybe just give us some more profile space to input whatever we want to. With bbcode enabled, we can make lists or whatever we want to share.

I am dying for an embed feature for youtube clips and also one for audio clips, maybe for soundcloud clips. Two trusted services. bbcode tags would keep the site safe. This forum would be amazing with the addition of video and audio.

I'd like to have the maximum number of pictures per post moved from 8 to 10 (or more). We do a lot of "top 10" threads and it would be nice to be able to post all 10 pics in one post instead of splitting them into 2 posts.

Some excellent suggestions!
Everyone knows I'm a messageboard guy.. I do check out and support the movie pages, but have never really been someone that submits things to be added to The Rewind. But something I would really like is for our movie threads to be somehow linked to their respective movie pages. That way someone who finds the site can also easy find our awesome threads that relate directly to the movies they love. I think it would cause old threads to resurface as new people join to discuss and keep the movie pages up-to-date for people to keep checking back.
Maybe like a place on the movie page that says .. 'Want to discuss this movie with others that enjoy it too?' .. then it shows the subject line link to three to five most recent threads that mentioned that particular movie.
What does everyone think?

That's not a bad idea, Valley. As long as we make the primary link go the other way though - it seems that most visitors to the site come to the boards, and we'd like a means of getting more visitors to the main site.

Guys I'm a recent member to the boards site, although I'd been using the main site for quite some time [I can't believe I hadn't joined the forums earlier!]. Anyway, I think it's so great and if you could link the two Valley it would be brilliant.. to get more people from the boards to the main site, and vice-versa.
Live chat would also be brilliant... youtube embeds would be equally brilliant..
Being new, I think a good easy feature, would be to expand user's profiles, so when we click in. we could view, favourite quotes, top 10 movies, favourite '80s bands etc, etc, to get to know each other more.. almost like a facebook profile page..

Especially because of Netflix....i'm watching tons of 80's TV now.....so many are being released on DVD now also......i'm watching Amazing Stories, Moonlighting, 21 Jumpstreet and Kate and Allie right now........I would love to discuss it on the Rewind....in it's own little category.
