I just bought some iron on transfer sheets for my printer and am hoping to make a few 80's themed shirts. My wife is a graphic designer and can pretty much re-create anything, blend images, etc. I love the 80's so much and I'm having a hard time narrowing down some ideas. Any thoughts re cool album covers, movie posters, general 80's images and/or sayings that might best capture the 80's spirit. I have a nice two tone blue t-shirt that I think I'll put Huey Lewis and the News - Sports album cover on. Any other ideas?

If you don't own own one already, a Frankie Says.... is essential, black print on white.
A nice album cover I always wanted on a t-shirt was Depeche Mode's Speak and Spell
Otherwise, stuff about Space Invaders, Tetris, Asteroids, all is good......

Cool ideas Paul...I'm sure an Atari classic will make the cut...likely Space Invaders or Pac Man....hmmmm...Space Invaders it is! The Cure - Disintegration might make a nice transfer...

What about those "Choose Life" T-shirts that featured so prominently in Whams' "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go" music video?
I see that they aren't on that "80s Tees" website that Paul posted a link to.

What about something like...
With the slogan: HULK HOGAN ATE MY STEROIDS!
A nod to comic book and 80s movie fans,

How about a t-shirt for your wife:
I dreamed of Jake Ryan and somehow ended up with Farmer Ted.. Posted by kevdugp73 (Member # 5978) on :
LoverswithCassie....there will be no WHAM on my t-shirts
Kash...my Hogan shirt would need a pre ripped hole...so my belly could hang out!
Valley...funny...and...if you could see my wife you would know...she coulda had Jake Ryan

Kevdug, I recently bought this Taschen book called Vintage T-shirts. It's filled with numerous pictures of t-shirts from the 70's and 80's (sorted by theme).
