Actually true Muffy...I got hooked in at the start because the premise was supposedly about two brothers that disliked each other that had to play high school basketball together to win a state championship. Plus, it had Craig Sheffer (SKOW) and Moira Kelly (The Cutting Edge) in it. Once pthe show evolved .. basketball took a back seat, but I kept watching for some reason. I've missed several shows because I'm not an avid fan, but now that I have a DVR..I eventually watch the current shows. The main characters Lucas and Peyton are gone, so it is not the same.
Oh and every show contains great music...they had the Plimsouls "Oldest Story in the World" on it awhile back which was cool.

One Tree Hill is my second favorite show (Cold Case being the first)!! Glad to know that another fellow Rewinder is a fan.

pettyfan..wasn't the episode titled "One Hundred" just awesome! When the INXS tune "Never Tear Us Apart" began to play I almost did a Karate Kid fist pump..

So now you're saying .. I should be embarrassed that I watched "Days of Our Lives" and "Young & the Restless" when I was in college? Too funny!

Yes I'm watching! I think I like the high school episodes better than these newer ones. Quinn and the sports agent guy annoy the hell out of me.

So how many John Hughes flicks did they reference?
Sixteen Candles, Pretty In Pink, The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Planes, Trains, & Automobiles, and Home Alone were the ones I noticed.
I wish they had used more of music by the original 80's artist, but still great to hear them. And the Cheap Trick concert was excellent.

I thought last night's ep was one of the best I've seen in awhile. You can usually count on a good ep when Junk and Fergie are involved LOL. I wish they'd played more 80s music too.
