Anybody else had to have it? My left one has been bothering me for years and it's a helluva lot more accurate than any meterologist around here as anyone can say whose ever had a broken bone or injury lol. I'm gonna have to go have it checked later this week and am afraid they are going to want to slice n dice. I turned the wrong way Friday, something popped and it's not been the same since. I hope it's only a sprain or a bruise vs.a torn meniscus or something requiring total knee replacement.......

My brother-in-law has had both knees done- knee replacements. They did them about 2-3 months apart. Being that he weighed around 350-400 lbs. and was able to recover and walk alright, I'd say that if you had to have it done, you should be okay Motley! Anyway, the knee surgery of today isn't like it was 20-30 years ago where they completely sliced the knee open and left a nice scar. Most surgeries are done with a scope and small instruments. Good luck Mots.

I wasn't able to go to the doc. But with time it's healing so I assume this time it was a bruise or a strain. Next time it flares up I will have to go though thanks guys.........

Friggin knee popped again. Went to doctor yesterday, they did x-rays, he prescribed Vicodin and I'm going to an orthopedist this Monday. They're saying either inflammation (cortisone shots) or torn ligament/meniscus (surgery). This is probably the first time in my life I've ever hoped for inflammation and a shot. Doc said off my feet for 2 days and wrote me out of work. I've always been so busy and active it's already boring me. You never realize how ya take such small things for granted. Thank goodness for Vicodin and college/NFL football and movies....

I hope it is just inflammation Motley. Torn ligament, you would probably be off of your feet a few weeks I'd guess.

I had knee surgery almost three years ago. The first year was rough, but the past two have been much better. From time to time, my knee acts up, but I don't regret getting the surgery at all.
