So I recently found out that this weekend a good friend and colleague has passed away. He was the same age as me and working as a military mental health nurse the same as me and was attending a course that we had always said we would attend together.
Turns out that he went out for a few drinks on the second night of the course, went back to his room, went to sleep and didn't wake up.
To say that this news has come as a huge shock would be a massive understatement.
RIP Marco. The second finest QARANC Soldier that I ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Sorry about your loss NOMS...an unfortunate reminder that people need to make the best of their lives. Your own problems seem to be less of a big deal when in comparison to such tragedies...take care my friend.

sorry to hear that; to go out like that is the easiest for the person, but hardest for those left behind.
