Has anyone played this game? I had guests here this weekend, and they asked if we would play cards with them on Saturday night, we said sure. So, they had this game. I never played it ever. It's like a mathematical game of UNO -sort of. I loved it. I went and bought it this afternoon for my husband for his birthday.
I love card games.
You know I looked all over the place today for a deck of "Old Maid" cards. I haven't played that in years. I remember when I was a kid- and I played that game, I was horrified if I got the Old Maid-she actually scared me.
I wonder where you can still find that game?

I have found Old Maid cards at gas stations. That's about it. Like the big travel gas stations in Florida with tons of useless crap to take home for souvenirs.
I love SkipBo. I am not good at it, but that doesn't stop me. I still play canasta with my grandma whenever I see her, and Cribbage with my mom.

you should be able to find a deck of Old Maid cards in pretty much any toy section of department stores

I like Skip-Bo as well. I work directly with teen-agers, so we play this all the time.

We play SkipBo all the time. I had trouble picking it up at first, there were so many different piles... but I got it in the end.
Sean and I love to play games, Skipbo, Uno, Uno Attack, Zilch, Trivial Pursuit, Game of Life....

I don't care much for Skip-Bo. As far as UNO goes, me and my uncle will take on anybody who wants to play team UNO....good luck! Haha.

I loved the Mad Magazine card game- we use to play it at lunch in the cafeteria when I was in junior high school- we played UNO too- it seemed that every one had a deck of UNO cards.
I love Canasta, we play it all the time. I like 500 Rummy too.
We used to play a game with some friends , it was called "Spoons", I can't remember it now, but it was fun.
Does anyone play poker?
We use to play all the time, when I was a kid, my whole family got together and played. There were tons of variations of poker. We played for money.

Still remember the old guy on the commercial line for line:
It was Friday night, and no place to go, so the gang and me took out a deck of Skip-Bo. We were shooting the breeze; we were having fun. Before we knew it, it was quarter to one.
