I have never forgot about going to see "Misery" at the movies with my mom...we went to a matinee.
We were the only ones in the movie theater , so we sat in the middle of the theater.
About 1/2 an hour in to the movie, a man came in and sat down in the seat right behind us.
It was really weird....and then before the movie was even over , he got up and left.
It totally creeped us out. We didn't know why anyone would do that...I remember when the movie was over we took off and ran to her car, and jumped in and locked the doors. The movie was creepy, but the guy behind us made me always think of the scene at the beginning of the movie "He Knows Your Alone"-where the killer stabs the girl through the seat at the movies.

A few years back me and my best friend went to see a horror movie called DEAD SILENCE. the theater was almost empty and this guy wondered in and asked me if he could sit in the seat next to me! Odd right there cuz the place was practically empty!I said "yes" and all through the coming attractions he kept trying to talk to me, the main thing being telling me how he hardly EVER got to go to the movies and this was a big treat for him. The funny thing is I never go to the movies (without my daughter) and so I was like "ummmm...yeah, me too" The movie theatre (The MIDWAY Theatre in Forest Hills, NY) is sort of a landmark and he started talking about how he used to go there as a child and I was like "ummmmm...yeah, me too". Then the lights went down for the movie to start and I got really nervous. My best friend has a limp and so he walks with a cane. I actually GRABBED THE CANE in case this guy made any sudden moves during the movie! The guy saw me with the cane in my hand and sorta left ME alone, but still proceeded to talk (mostly to the charactors on screen!) during the whole run of the movie. I sat in total discomfort for the whole hour and a half.
We laugh about it NOW though!

I remember going to see Jaws 3 - 3D back in the day. First 3D movie I'd ever been to.
So the lights went down, the movie started, and I thought it was fabulous.
Then the credits rolled, the lights came back up, and I found out one of my legs had been bitten off.....

On a recent post I relayed that I hate "heat"...I'm a walking heating pad and get warm very easy. Me and my wife were at "Mystic River" and there was something drastically wrong with the heating system...it was like a sauna in the theatre. I stuck it out cause the movie was so good...but it was kinda like torture for me. On the way out, they gave everyone a free movie pass.

I once watched the movie The Hole in a packed cinema with the back two rows full of travellers, pikies tinkers gypsies, whichever applies to your region of the World..
Anyways, they made so much noise through the movie I almost lost it. Then one of them fired a drink forwards hitting everyone in my row. I lost it, stood up screamed which one of you mother****ers did that? The person with me thought I had a death wish, but hey, I'm still livin!!
