Does anyone know what's going on with this? My grandmother is the one who told me about it.
Apparently, there are rumors all over the internet but I haven't checked into them because you can't believe everything off of the internet, ya know?
I don't think that I'll be effected. I mean I work at Movie Gallery and I haven't heard anything about it.
Please fill me in if you know anything. Thanks!

I quit going to our local Movie Gallery because of the poor service (people standing around talking while your waiting to be rung up). I had heard that ours was not doing alot of business but dunno about the closing part. With the service level at the local one, it wouldn't suprise me. I hope it doesn't affect your job though.......

We had a Movie Gallery here for about a year and 1/2 and it went out of business. Blockbusters ran them out of town.

Yeah, I hope I can keep my job, I like it there. With the whole "crappy" customer service, my boss is like that. He'll sit on the counter and talk to one customer while one of us other employees has to deal with a huge line of customers.
I'm hoping that my store dosen't get closed.

A friend of mine sent me an email about gift cards, and which ones not to buy b/c of stores closing, and Movie Gallery was one of them.

So apparently, the next day I went into work my boss handed me this paper to read and it was a message from the president of Movie Gallery and I guess that the closing rumors are false. Weird. It just got a lot of hype on the internet. So my job is safe! Yay!!!
