I was wondering who on here uses which instant messaging service. Most of my friends have an account with Skype - is Skype common also in the US? Or do you guys across the Atlantic use other services such as Yahoo more commonly?

IMS is popular here in the states. Also, Skype is from here and is widely used as well...

I use MSN for messaging and Skype for phone calls. I like Skype so much that i use it in place of my land line for most of my phone calls.
