I'm debating on buying a new gaming system being as I'm a few years behind everybody else. What's everyone think PlayStation 3 or XBox? I've heard good and bad about both. Thanks in advance for any advice...........

As a proud owner of both I can give a totally unbiased opinion. If you want to use it for online gaming, XBOX Live is superior to PS Network althouth PSN is free and XBOX Live Gold requires a subscription.You also need to buy a wireless adaptor for xbox whereas ps3 has it built in. If you want HD movies then PS3 comes wityh blu ray and you may need to buy a HD DVD add on for Xbox. Gaming wise, most stuff comes out on both platforms but there will always be exclusives (Halo 3 & Gears of War on Xbox vs Gran Turismo and Metal gear Solid on PS3.
Personally I prefer Xbox despite having to buy the add ons because I can choose what I want rather than paying extra for things I may never use.

Yes, I have a wii too.
Best family console there is. Mario Part 8, Wii Sports, Big Brain Academy, Monkey ball. All great family games. We are soooo looking forward to playing Link's Crossbow training on Christmas morning.

For kids, then its the wii all the way!!! Xbox is more for the older kids (like me!)
