Hey all,

Looks like I underestimated the internet facilities out here. Whilst I may not get online as often as I would back home, I can still access fairly regularly.

Won't divulge too much on what's going on over here but its hot! Damn Hot!!!!

Hi guys,

Don't worry my head is constantly down, which makes it more difficult to keep my chin up, believe me!

Don't know how hot it is in phx R, but its averaging around 43 degrees celcius here at the moment (don't know what that is in fahrenheit, sorry!) Whichever way you look, its damn hot!)

um today yes NOMS... but tomorrow it's 110 degrees here ARGGGG!!! that's normal here, you can live here all your life and not get used to it...

Hi guys,

Just got back from Gareshk which was quite cool. Helicopter flights are a bit hairy though. Glad to be back at base camp but its still hot and dusty.

Keep your head down over there. I have a buddy that's been in Iraq in the "green zone" for 11 months. He had a piece of shrapnel take out his AC unit last week. Not good...
