Both movies star Alice Eve.........total Christy Brinkley lookalike!
But honestly Starter for Ten has everything She's Out of My League didn't have for me.
Well first off it's set in 1985 in England. The soundtrack is beyond awesome New Order, Yazoo, Style Council, Wham, The Psychedelic Furs, Tears for Fears, Echo and the Bunnyman, The Smiths, and 5 Cure songs!
For me the chemistry that was lacking in She's Out of My is totally here in this movie.....I actually love Alice Eve more maybe the 80's style and side ponytails don't hurt? ha!
James Mcavoy being a nerdy guy is totally lovable......such dreamy eyes.
There is wit and humor..........all around I loved it and wanted to share it with you guys.........anyone seen this one?
She's Out of My League is a cute movie don't get me wrong........
But for how much alike they are for me Starter for Ten is alot more enjoyable!!
I must also mention how much Rebecca Hall looks like Molly Ringwald to me in this movie....

haha when i saw she's out of my league, i knew that the main female girl was english or something. her accent kept poking through when she spoke! that drives me crazy sometimes...don't know why.

I saw this a while ago. It wasn't toooo bad. Something to do with 'University Challenge' wasn't it? Alice Eve has the kind of horsey teeth that can only come from being well-fed on... money.
