My husband had heard rave reviews of REQUIEM FOR A DREAM at work so when it was on cable he stayed up to watch it. Unfourtanely he was sick with a cold at the time and passed at with the TV on. The movie - and I didnt even technically WATCH it as I was in a bed trying to sleep - ate my nerves raw. I finally got up and turned the TV off towards the end.
Thats not to say it isnt a GOOD movie. It probably IS. But I know ILL never be able to sit through it!
