I just got this magazine for Christmas, it is full of all kids of good stuff from the 80s.
Some of it, I had forgotten all about.
The guys from DEVO are really looking old. They have Now and Then photos in the magazine.
Queen Latifah is the only person who seems to look younger now than she did in the 80s.
Do you guys remember:
Aloha Flight 43? _The roof blew off the top of the plane, but they landed and there was only 1 fatality.
How about the Mayflower Madam? She became a public speaker.
I still can't get over the Jim Baker/Tammy Faye/Jessica Hahn thing-those people looked so much like they belonged in the spotlight-before they ever became famous...Jessica Hahn as his secretary- that is so hard to believe-when you see what she looked like.
Do you guys remember the story about Jean Harris? She was the headmistress of an exclusive girls school, she shot and killed her boyfriend-he was a doctor, and he was having an affair with his secretary. She was granted clemency after 12 years in prison. She's 85 years old now and lives in Hamden, Conn.

She was like the 80s version of Heidi Fleiss.
Her name was Sydney Biddle Barrows. (That sounds like something out of a movie).
Some of the guys from Devo weren't that young when they started, I think a few of them were on campus during the tragic Kent State shootings in 1970. Ohio native Chrissie Hynde was also on campus as well.
I forgot about the Mayflower Madam, I faintly remember the movie on her life with Candice Bergen. Speaking of Bergen, did you know she would have been an intended target of Charles Manson if found with her then-boyfriend terry Melcher living at 1150 Ciello Drive? They moved out months before the Sharon Tate killings.
