I cant imagine how many popular songs or MTV videos from the 80s I have forgotten and just don't get the radio play much anymore. I know with your help we can relive some old memories just by them being listed here.
A couple I thought of today are the salt in my tears by and Martin Briley, this song screams pure 80s and Van Halens video for Pretty Woman which cracks me up. I listed it for video purposes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWQRDI7mTyw

Martin Briley is a genius. His whole discography just oozes talent.
I´m gonna go with classic Saxon video Back on the Streets from Innocence Is No Excuse (1985) album.

I like pretty much everything he´s done, even the 2006 "comeback" album It Comes in Waves was excellent.
This has to be one of the coolest album covers ever:

Remember Benjamin Orr from The Cars had a great solo album. The biggest song from it was "Stay the Night", but I loved the whole album.

Over the weekend I found a song I have been looking for 31 years! I only knew the chorus which was who's side are you on? By chance, I was looking at a Matt Bianco cd and I saw the chorus as a song title. So it turns out this was the long lost side! What really made it difficult was that the song had a high pitched female voice which I found out was Basia which I had no idea she was involved in. Matt Bianco has kind of a Joe Jackson vibe to him. Going to investigate his other stuff.
Great picks aTomik. I seriously wouldn't have known that was Foreman if you hadn't mentioned it. She was reading the Breakout magazine but I wasn't sure if that was her in the red and black checkered shirt. I never noticed before but the singer imo has a slight Nicholas Cage face.
I was reading the comments on the talking in your sleep video and several people said that song was in FNAF. I have no idea what that is. You?

Long John Baldry's 1980 version of the often covered folk song Morning Dew may not hold a candle to some of the earlier renditions out there, but it's still pretty decent in my opinion.
I was just a wee lad in the 80's, so I'm not sure how popular this group was in the U.S. But I hear they were a pretty big hit in other countries in the 80's. I was just a little kiddie, but I can just faintly remember seeing a snip-bit of this video one day on MTV, (or some other music station?) It wasn't until about a decade later in the 90's when I finally heard this song again; and I've been a big fan of theirs ever since.

Great song Pyro. I don’t remember it though. This wouldn’t have been played on the radio here in Western Pennsylvania.

I don't recall them either Pittsburghgirl but i liked it also. It reminded me of an 80's song that I recently have been hearing played during shuffle dance videos I've been watching. Its by a German band called Silent Circle. The song is Touch in the Night. Have you guys heard of them ?
Posted by Pittsburghgirl (Member # 7514) on :
No, I haven’t heard of them. I’ll look them up!

Nope. Can't say that name rings any bells. But after giving them a listen; I can definitely say I'm digging them.

Yup, I'll definitely be checking out more from them. Thanks for the awesome new discovery buddy.
