I do like At This Moment and Escape (The Pina Colada Song) is kinda catchy, but I am not sure how it got to number one.

The One That You Love - Air Supply Flashdance...What A Feeling - Irene Cara Let's Hear It For The Boy - Deniece Williams We Built This City - Starship The Next Time I Fall - Peter Cetera Every Rose Has Its Thorn - Poison

I agree with most of them, but I like the following songs:
Irene Cara - Flashdance Poison - Every Rose Has It's Thorn Deniece Williams - Let's Hear For The Boy
I could take or leave the other seven songs, though.

I'm surprised they didn't go after REO Speedwagon with two number #1 hits Keep on Loving you and Can't fight this feeling. Also how many #2 hits are out there? Like Rockwell's Somebody's watching me, which is a guilty pleausure of mine, which also includes a few songs on the list as well. The 70's has some really cheesier and hokier #1 hits than the 80's IMO.

I don't hate any of these songs, but, I don't see them as being number 1 on the charts either...

I love all three of those songs Rip. I love cheese I guess.

What was that recent movie I saw recently where they keep playing the synth intro to Can't fight this feeling whenever the guy sees his love interest?
This guy's blo9g would have a field day with some 90's #1's like Right Said Fred's I'm too sexy, Tubthumping-Chumbawumba and Aqua's Barbie Girl.

Bugger it Ripper, you've gone and started me trying to think of the movie now! I can see and hear it in my head clear as day, and I can't for the life of me think what film it is.
I curse you!

Stitch, it's got to be something like Old School or Will Ferrell vehicle, I'm going to think long and hard about what it could be today.

Pick one of these:
Sex Drive (2008) Kickin It Old School (2007) Employee of the Month (2006) Waiting... (2005)
All of those have "Canīt Fight This Feeling" on the soundtrack.

I agree with the Poison song...such an overrated song.

I love the movie connotations with the song (Girls just want to have fun), but Q-feel's dancing in Heaven sounds kind of bad sometimes.
What does everyone think of Boys Don't Cry I want to be a cowboy?
