IMO, the greatest band of the 60s.
A top 3 for a band of this magnitude isn't enough, so I'm going to extend it..

While not my favorite 60's band, I think their album the Who Sell out is a masterpiece, plus a lot of other great material. When you look at their lineup, they might have had the best rythm section in rock duking it out with Zeppelin.
