Oh, Yeah!!! The Pretenders are my all-time favorite band.
Hard for me to narrow it down to just five songs, though! But here goes...

"My City Was Gone" is known for being used as the theme song for Rush Limbaugh's radio show, mainly because singer Chrissie Hynde arranged that Limbaugh donate some royalties to one of her favorite organizations, PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), in exchange for continued use of her song.
