I really like the J.Geils song, but I'm going with this great tribute to the national pastime by John Fogerty.

personally I feel both songs have been way to overplayed during the years and don't like either anywhere near where I did back in the 80s.
But for the sake of picking one I'll go with J. Geils

I like both songs. But the J. Geils Band one is a really fun party song to sing along.
[NOTE TO SELF: Try to practice this song to sing at a karaoke bar!]

I like both as well. I'll take Fogerty though.

J GEILS BAND
I remember when I was in Catholic school a bunch of guys in my class were slated to perform it for the talent show. Well, I guess one of the nun's caught wind of the lyrcis....they never did!

xchazx, are you down with NJ native Derek Jeter? Yankee Stadium is finally coming to a close, so many memories.

J Geils Band for me. Good memories in the very early 80's...my friend had lots of 45's....we always listened to Centerfold, Freeze Frame, and Rage In The Cage.
