Anyone heard of 'Brittle Heart'? They also sang the famous song 'Killing Time'. They're very 80's. They sound like Simple Minds. I still have an album of this. I bet they're gone now to their separate ways or am I wrong?

I believe the song you're thinking of is actually called 'The Killing Moon' That is if it's the song from the movie 'Donnie Darko'.

I'd recommend this song of theirs to you, i know they said it was the best song they had written, its charted here in the UK but i guess not in the US?

Anyway, its go some great lyrics!!

want it now I want it now
not the promises of what tomorrow brings
I need to live in dreams today
I'm tired of the song that sorrow sings
I want more than I can get just
trying to trying to trying to forget
I walk to you through winds of fire
and never let you know the way I feel
Under skin is where I hide love
that always gets me on my knees
I want more than I can get just
trying to trying to trying to forget
Nothing ever lasts forever nothing ever lasts
forever nothing ever lasts
forever nothing ever lasts forever
I want it now I want it now don’t
tell me that my ship is coming in
Nothing comes to those who wait
times running out before you're running in
I want more than I can get just
trying to trying to trying to forget
Nothing ever lasts forever nothing ever lasts
forever nothing ever lasts
forever nothing ever lasts forever
All the Shadows and the fields are coming to you
all the Shadows and
the fields are coming to you
All the Shadows and the
fields are coming to you

One of my favorite groups of the 80's, in fact still going strong with the album Siberia. Anyway, they were never in the commercial realm of Simple Minds and U2, but had some amzing albums in the first half of the 80's. They were just soo cool and uncerstated and still are, in fact I heard Seal recently covered Lips like Sugar, which I also saw a movie last night where that song was used in a scene in a recent movie with Daryl Hannah I saw. They have a new greatest hits also coming out on CD/DVD called More Songs to learn and sing. Maybe the best bend after the Beatles to come out of Liverpool.
