When you stop and listen to some songs, you realise that some of them have some weird lyrics. Eg
We built this city -
Who counts the money underneath the bar Who rides the wreaking ball into our guitars Don't tell us you need us, 'cos we're just simple fools Looking for America, coming through your schools
The Reflex -
The Reflex is an only child Who's waiting by the park The Reflex is in charge of finding Treasure in the dark And watching over lucky clover Isn't that bizarre Every little thing The Reflex does Leaves you answered with a question mark
You guys got any more?

Pretty much anything by Funeral For A Friend
Example:
Tied to the testing of wills, where my heart breaks and spills Left to the sight of the sky, in your arms i'm defined I'm Thrown to the wolves in the minds of your enemies (in the minds of your enemies) And I'm stone in the eyes of your foolishness
Well, if this is what I'm meant for, no longer interesting Fall forward to even the score Just a thought to you
Tied to the testing of wills, where my heart breaks and spills Left to the sight of the sky, in your arms i'm defined I'm Thrown to the wolves in the minds of your enemies (in the minds of your enemies) And I'm stone in the eyes of your foolishness

Alot of Fear Factory's lyrics make me go "huh" but in a good way...
Slave Labor
Machines are paper thin, and they're welded with ink Sealed inside a legal trap, so tight with a leak A contract with the devil for a life of distain Seeping in the limelight at attention, slave!
I blame myself
God, help me pour this gas on me I need to drown in flames to be free Help me pour this gas on me Help me pour this gas on me
God help me pour this gas on me [x4]
Chocking on the product for the mass to consume The flocks of mindless sheep that have been corporately groomed Ignorance through apathy like drones in the hive A slave on the trail, a willing conformed disguise
I blame myself
God, help me pour this gas on me I need to drown in flames to be free Help me pour this gas on me Help me pour this gas on me
I sold my soul [x11]
God, help me pour this gas on me I need to drown in flames to be free Help me pour this gas on me Help me pour, this gas on me
God help me pour this gas on me [x4]

I always liked Nenah Cherry's "Heart" -
You took my man and didn't mean it But you did it to hurt my feelings What I should do is slap you in your face You left me here with a pain below my waste You lose a guy you move into the larder You got no style, why don't you try a little harder Chocolates, bananas, doughnuts and salami Aint gonna fit coz you're full of boloni

I've been waiting a long time for an opportunity to post what I think is the one of most strangest set of lyrics from an 80's song!
The song was written by The Who's Pete Townsend, and sung by Roger Daltrey (as a solo effort). It's "After The Fire".
Part of it goes like this:
"I saw Matt Dillon in black and white There ain't no colour in memories He rode his brother's Harley across the TV While I was laughing at Dom deLuise."
Townsend is one of my all-time favorite songwriters, but what the hell is this?

Secret Lovers by Atlantic Starr 1986
The lamest "We're cheating on our partners" song!
Here we are the two of us together Taking this crazy chance to be all alone We both know that we should not be together Because if they found out it could mess up both of our happy homes
I'd hate to think about all of us meeting up together because as soon as I look at you it would show on my face Then they'll know that we've been loving each other We can't let them know We can't leave a trail
Sitting at home, I do nothing all day But think about you and hope that you're okay Hoping you'll call before anyone gets home I wait anxiously alone by the phone
How could something so wrong be so right I wish we didn't have to keep our love out of sight Living two lives just aint easy at all But we gotta hang on in there
Secret lovers, that's what we are Trying so hard to hide the way we feel We both belong to someone else but we can't let go because what we feel is oh so real
You and me, are we fair, is this cruel or do we care Can they tell what's in our minds Maybe they have secret loves all of the time (Stupidest line in the song!)
In the middle of making love we notice the time We both get nervous cause it's way after 9 Even though we hate it, we know it's time we should go We got to be careful so that no one will know

THE WHO is a good example: "You're dog keeps licking my nose and chewing up all my letters, saying You Better! You Better You Better You Bet"
That musta been some good s*** they were taking!
Didn't Stevie Wonder have a song called "Do I Do"? I remember my cousin and me used to make fun of it cuz it went something like this: Do I do what you do when I do my love for you Yes I got some chocolate chippin' kisses fulla love..........for you
