Weird day, I bought Madonna's True Blue tape today at a thrift shop for like a quarter. I really loved her stuff up to the Like a Prayer album, then it was some random singles here and there like I'll remember you, This used to be my playground, the Power of Love. Hard to believe she's 47 already, her birthday was today I believe. Still have never seen her in concert, but I would have only preferred to have seen her in the 80's and early 90's.

Yeah she was horsebacking riding on her B-day and fell of. Broke some bones and went to the hospital. What a happy birthday that must have been.

Back in the 80's Madonna was younger than me. Now all of a sudden she's older than me. She must have lied about her age back then.

I was thinking the same thing as GoldTransAM. I never realized just how old she was when she 'made it'. She definetly didnt look her age.

Yeah what a birthday to break your arm, collar bone and crack some ribs. I think she is definately feeling her 47 years now.

Well, I'm just glad it was not life-threatening.
When I first heard that it was a horseback-riding accident, I immediately thought of the Christopher Reeve incident when he was paralyzed.

Well....her being 47 makes me feel young, cause I'll be 37 in a few weeks, and I can always be glad that Madonna is 10 years older than me.
